The West Gate Punt Service across the Yarra River for cyclists and pedestrians operates on Weekends, Public Holidays and special days.

Widespread belief that the punt no longer operates is simply not true.  The 'weekday' subsidised service closed in 2006 after a trial period, but the service continued on other days.

West Gate Punt links the Bay Trail West bike trail to the Bay Trail.

Punt Timetable

Weekend and Public Holiday Service:

10am - 5pm on demand

Punt may not operate during inclement weather or high winds.

Ticket Prices

Tickers are $4 one way or $6 return.
